Elkton, Md. -- The Maryland Technology Development Corporation (TEDCO) said on Tuesday that it has awarded Elkton-based Phoenix S&T, a startup developing technology to analyze proteins and other molecules, $50,000 through its program that helps commercialize technologies from universities and federal labs. The funding will support the company's technology, which is designed to quickly identify substances and their composition within proteins and drug candidates with only a small sample.
